Day 4
I hate this film + lens combo. It made everything weird and black and white and BLUE. Blue?! Why? I deleted almost everything from the day and made the surviving pics greyscale. Meh. This is my lovely kitten. She is the first thing I see every morning when I wake up. John S w/BlackKeys B+W. Do not like.

Day 3
These pictures are actually from yesterday. It was a bit of a bum day for me - busy day at work coupled by lots of fatigue + my brother and his fiance going home. Sad times! The day started off with a cold & gloomy walk to work. That’s July in San Francisco, though. Despite the doom and gloom of the morning, I can’t help but smile at the tiny city off in the distance. I love the...

Day 2
As I mentioned before, I’m working my way through all of the lenses and film in the hipstamatic app. Today’s combo is John S and Ina’s 1969.  If you have a cat, you understand why it is necessary to have a water pistol on the nightstand.  Fact: I was four minutes late for work this morning because I was playing with these toys that my boyfriend brought me back from his trip...

Family
My brother and his fiance came for a visit! It’s rare that anyone in the family makes it out to see me, so it’s a special couple of days. Today we took a walk near the water. After lots of walking up and down hills in the sunshine, we went home to relax and take in the view.

Day 1
I’m flower & plant-obsessed these days. We have no yard. We have a lovely house with amaaaazing views, but no yard. I’ve been attempting a roof garden but my cat has other plans (her plans mostly involve digging and pooping). My morning walk to work seems to be less about getting to work on time and more about coveting every plant, bench, tree, weed and flower I pass by. The...

WatchWatch
Figures the day I decide to do something involving my phone, it goes COMPLETELY HAYWIRE. In addition to the fun noise it makes after I take a picture, it also makes a chirping sound when I turn it off. Since I typically turn it off and immediately put it in my back pocket, there’s a 10-15 second period of time when it sounds like there are grasshoppers coming out of my butt.

Hi.
Life can get hectic + monotonous after awhile. I no longer have the time (for now, at least) for adventures or photo excursions with a real camera or crafting or, you know, just relaxing + appreciating the world around me. I decided that what I CAN do is try to find tiny moments of appreciation in day to day things - my walk to work, a trip to the store, pacing during a phone call, waking up...
